  19. When you close the header toolbar in Microsoft Word for Windows 6.0,
  20. you may cause Windows NT to stop responding (hang).

  22. Steps to Reproduce Problem
  23. --------------------------

  25. 1. Make sure Word is in a window and not full-screen. The document
  26.    window should be maximized.
  27. 2. Choose Headers and Footer from the View menu.
  28. 3. In the header box, type "EVOLUTIONARY MUTATIONS."
  29. 4. Highlight the text you just typed and format it using Impact in 48
  30.    point size.
  31. 5. Choose the Close button on the header toolbar.

  33. Windows NT hangs and you must restart your computer.

  38. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and
  39. Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in
  40. the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced
  41. Server version 3.1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack,
  42. query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without
  43. the spaces):
